Caleb's Newborn Tie

  Good morning:)  I thought I'd post a picture of the newborn tie I made Caleb for his newborn pictures.  I was looking up ties for newborn boys on etsy when it dawned on me, "I don't have to pay $20 for that.  I can totally make it myself!"  Well, I'm not for sure if it's as cute as the ones on etsy, but this one was super cheap.  I didn't even have to buy fabric for it.  I ended up going through Hayden's (my son) baby things that I have kept.  One of them being Hayden's old nursery curtain.  I wish I could tell you HOW I made the tie, but honestly, I'm one of those people who don't go by the directions, I just kinda do it myself.  I also had to add a "C" at the bottom because I'm an overachiever of course:)  Happy Wednesday!!! P.S. I also made a bow tie, so you might be seeing it in a shot next month.

Eight months!

  Today I'm eight months pregnant, but hey who's counting?  Me, I am!!!  :)  My bellybutton is officially M.I.A. and I can't reach my toes.  So, needless to say, I'm ready for Caleb to make his grand exit.

Dr. Jael turns six

  Yesterday my daughter, Jael turned six.  Her most prized gift was a doctor set.  She LOVES this thing.  I took her on the front porch and snapped a few pictures to remember her big day.  And just a little f.y.i. her hair always gets sprayed pink on her b-day:)  Gotta love little girls<3  Evie

She also asked for a clipboard.  Be still my heart.

She's keeping track of baby Caleb very well:)  Eight weeks to go!!!!

Melissa

I have known Melissa for a couple of years now.  She was the worship singer for our youth back in Illinois.  I believe she was 18 at the time too.  We have kept in contact which is awesome because now she has a little family:)  She married Steve, (her boyfriend back in youthgroup) and they now live in AZ and have one son, Josiah who is 2years old and now a baby girl on the way!
I must be cool (lol) because she and Josiah flew into St.Louis for her baby shower and she drove all the way down to Springfield to stay with me a night and catch up:0)  You don't know how much of a blessing it is to see old friends again.  She is still way funny too..lol.  I told her I wanted some practice on a prego belly and she was pretty much up for anything.  I really wanted outside shots, but of course the weather was poopy so we stayed inside and did our best. (And by best, I mean throwing up my black bed sheet on the wall:)) Actually, the best pictures I can't post because they are el natural...lol;) 
Melissa, I love you.  You and your family are such a blessing us.  Hope  to see your new little one soon;)
