Lisha & Michael

OK, just like I promised, the full post for Lisha and Michael.  They were married last week at the beautiful Lindwedel Wine Garden in Branson, Mo.  Here's a few of my personal favorites....

The bride and grooms parents each wrote a letter and read it during the ceremony.  I love this shot of the Lisha's Dad, Scott.

These doves were so beautiful!  If you are looking for a dove release company, I highly recommend "Covenant Doves."

The worlds longest kiss at an altar...haha

For some reason this shot reminds me of a painting.
Lisha looks AMAZING and Michael is looking quite dapper:)

Lisha and Michael, hope you're having an amazing time in the Dominican Republic!!!

Happy Ten Years Baby!!!

Ten years ago today I was 19, and getting ready for my wedding day.  It was a great day.  Unfortunately though, I didn't end up with any good shots of me in my dress.  I just had a friend take the pictures.  And I was totally happy with them back then, but now I wish I would have hired a pro.  So, last month when I was thinking about some ideas for a fun 10 yr. wedding annv. post, I thought it would be fun to get back into my dress.  Yes.  I'm crazy.  So, I asked Brian, my hubby, if he'd like to get a tux and redo our pics.  He wasn't so happy with the idea of that, but he did offer to take pictures of me in my dress.  I knew right away, I'd feel comfortable around him, so it must be a good idea..lol.  Turns out, I learned  a lot.  I forgot how huge wedding dresses are, and how hard it is to walk in them.  Also, how kinda lame you feel in front of a camera when you don't know how you look.  And most importanly, I now know first hand, chiggers love me:/  But, all in all, I think Brian did awesome.  Our goal was for me to set up the shots/poses and he had to check the lighting.  Then I got to edit:)  So, please be kind....lol....here's me ten years and two kids later.

I thought a pink apron and a pretty pink cake would be adorable:)

Pretty much I just wanted to show off my new MASSIVE ring in this shot..lol

Sadly, I couldn't find my original veil. I made one the same length as the original for about $5!!!

I wanted to have fun, so I grabbed one of my daughters
Hello Kitty necklaces and made myself a pink veil.

OK, so this is my wedding day jewelry.  Vintage 50's costume jewelry.  Garage sale find, $40.

Actual pic from the wedding day.  We are about to cut the cake.  FACT: When you do too many dramas/human videos growing up, they will have an effect on your brain;)

HAPPY TEN YEARS BABY!!!!
Ok, enough about me....tomorrow I have Lisha and Michaels' full wedding post to show you and I'm really excited.  See ya tomorrow;) Evie

My new favorite t-shirt:)

Hi guys!  I wanted to share with you reason #721 I have awesome sisters....on Saturday I received a package in the mail from my sister, Mollie.  You might know that name if you read my blog comments because she ALWAYS writes a comment.  Pretty sure she's my numero uno fano;)  lol  She sent me my new favorite t-shirt!!!!!!!!!  I was so excited to get it.  I have worn it pretty much since I opened up the package.  Which is why I already have bleach stains on it and am in search of another one:( (yes, I sadly photoshopped them out for this pic)  Maybe if you're lucky your local Target has it on the shelf still.  Go.  Quickly.  Buy one and think of me and my bleach stained one.  No, no, don't feel bad for me...cough, cough, size S;)  OK, have a GREAT DAY!!!  I can't wait to show you my post for Thursday and Friday! Lisha's Bridal Session

Here's some pictures from Lisha's bridal session from the very first week in April.  I promised her I wouldn't post them till her wedding day, which is this Saturday, but she informed me her fiance already saw ALL the edited images.  So, now I get to show her off a few days early;)  Can't wait to shoot the wedding!  I pray it doesn't rain because it's an outside wedding.  BUT, that's why bridal sessions are SO GREAT!  If you do have an outside wedding, you still have great images of you in your wedding dress despite any bad weather.  Knock on wood.  Have a great day everyone!  Oh, if you're having any problems posting a comment, I apologize.  I've been having trouble myself responding to comments.  Please know I'm reading them and wishing I could respond;)  Evie

Hayden Turns SEVEN!!!

Well, today our son, Hayden turns seven.  Every year I say it, but it's still true this year, he's growing up so fast.  I had a conversation with him earlier last week.  It went something like this...

Me: Hayden, would you like a birthday shoot?
Hayden: Do I have to pay you for it?
Me: (trying not to laugh) No, of course not.
Hayden: Well thank goodness for free services!

I never know what's going to come out of this kid.  One of many reasons why he's so cool;)  Once we decided the weather was good for the shoot, he and I got in the car and started to drive.  Our conversation went something like this...

Me: What are you thinking, buddy?  Where do you wanna shoot?
Hayden: I was thinking going old school.  You know like Main St, or a factory with lots of smoke?
Me: (trying not to laugh) Yeah, ok we can do that.
Hayden: I sound very technology don't I?
Me: You really do bud:)

So, here's Hayden going old school with a factory.  Man, I love my kid!
My personal fav:)
He can't help it, he's got cool parents..lol
He was more than happy to see TWO HUGE bags of Skittles for his shoot in the car:)

Right now, Hayden LOVES Tony Hawk...
And, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid."

BUT, more than anything....
He LOVES LOVES LOVES.....
CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS.....TRALALALALAAAAAA!

Hayden wants to be in the military when he grows up,
so I thought some camo was in order. Hayden had this great idea for some muscles...small potatoes:) If you look close you can see them coming out.
He's laughing here b/c the potatoes kept falling out:)
Yes, I'm the kind of Mom that draws facial hair on my kid...
Trying to be serious...
but ends up being silly and pretending to fart:)  Because, that's a SEVEN YEAR
old for ya;)

Happy birthday Hayden, you stole my heart seven years ago and I have a feeling I'm
never gonna get it back;)
