Slowing Down

OK, so I'm starting to really slow down with this pregnancy.  Literally, as in, someone in a wheel chair could easily pass me by.  It dawned on me that in less than one month I'm going to have three kids!!!!  My husband and I will be out numbered.

I'm trying to keep up with taking a few pictures here and there for a simple scrapbook for Caleb.    I thought it might be fun for one page to be on his big brother and big sister right before he was born.  So, I took the kids out early this morning behind our house. I was hoping of getting a few good shots, however, out of the 76 images I took, only 3 were well, to be honest, so-so.  Just another reason why I'm not a child photographer:)  So, don't ask me to take your kids pictures.  I will smile and turn you down:)  Evie

Dr. Jael turns six

Yesterday my daughter, Jael turned six.  Her most prized gift was a doctor set.  She LOVES this thing.  I took her on the front porch and snapped a few pictures to remember her big day.  And just a little f.y.i. her hair always gets sprayed pink on her b-day:)  Gotta love little girls<3  Evie

She also asked for a clipboard.  Be still my heart.

She's keeping track of baby Caleb very well:)  Eight weeks to go!!!!

I LOVE this face!

Beautiful PA

Thought I'd share some pictures of my kiddos here enjoying the fall here in PA.  I hope it's beautiful where ever you live.  It's pretty gorgeous here, I'm not gonna lie;)

Poor Jael, she hates it when I have my camera.  I have to sneak a shot of her when she's not looking if I'm gonna get a shot of her at all.

Hayden on the other hand, loves to goof off for the camera.  Here he is on the zip line for the first time.

Good news......I have a new niece!!!!  Her name is Grace and I LOVE LOVE LOVE her:)  CONGRATULATIONS MOLLIE AND LOGAN!!!!  Here's a shot they e-mailed me....and yes, that's a camo tutu Aunt Evie made her.  Because all the military babies are wearing them this season;)

Happy Birthday Hayden!

Today our son, Hayden is turning eight years old:)  Eight years old!!!!  Crazy.  A little after he woke up, he ate his normal birthday breakfast, colored pancakes.  This year he wanted orange and red.  Then he got a few gifts from his aunts.  One of them was a treasure hunt.  I LOVED this idea so much that I photographed it before it got destroyed.  My sister, Amy is so stinkin creative!!!  She didn't want to just send him money in a card, so she put together this whole package, including instructions for me.  Check it out....

It had all these fun clues that Hayden had to solve....

The last clue led him to under his pillow where there was a treasure chest waiting for him with some
goodies....

So, if you're in need of a great idea for a kid, try this!  Hayden LOVED running through the house finding cards.  The treasure chest is from Hobby Lobby.  However, it doesn't come painted.  Amy is amazing, so she distressed it;)  If you're not a painter though, I'm sure stickers would be great;)

I know I said a few posts back I would post Hayden's birthday session, but it's been so hot out, we haven't actually finished yet:(  Here's a few from his coin collection session....

And here's a few from the Mythbusters science lab session...

Hope everyone is doing great....I'm about to go give a little boy eight birthday kisses:) Evie

Our baby is turning FIVE!!!

I just can't believe how fast time goes by.  Our baby-Jael is turning five.  I took her on a two part birthday photo shoot.  Here's some of my favorites....

She LOVED the movie, "Tangled" this year so I thought it would be fun to dress up like Rapunzel:)

If you haven't seen the movie yet-GO RENT IT!  It's super cute:)

In the movie, Rapunzel's weapon of choice is her frying pan, so it was only natural Jael would have one too;)

Be still my heart....I can't get enough of this face!

I adore her hair color.

Since she's home schooled, I thought I'd bring in some school stuff....like her globe:)

My toothless beauty:)

She always tries to find Grandma's house on it...lol
Hope you all are having a great day-talk to ya tomorrow! Evie:) Pin It
