Happy Mothers Day!

  First I'd like to say a BIG Happy Mothers Day to my Mom, Martha:)  I was up in Kansas City this past week for work, and my sister, Leah decided to drive in from St.Louis to visit as well:)  I was soooooo happy to see my nephew, Jacob again.  He's a month old already.  I didn't have a "session" with him, but I couldn't help but snap a few pics.  Here's some of my fav's....

Jacob's Newborn Shoot

  Happy Tuesday!  I'd like to share with you some of Jacob's Newborn session pictures.  I went to St.Louis thinking this session would be a piece of cake.  I mean, really, what could be easier to shoot?  Newborns sleep like 20 hrs out of the day, right?  I have two kids so I thought I knew how it would go.....WRONG!  Poor little Jake had some bad tummy troubles.  I ended up shooting three days.  No joking.  Only for family:0)  So, by the end of the third trip to my sisters house, I knew I had at least enough pictures of a normal shoot. Haha.  Serves me right thinking I knew what I was doing;)  So, without further ado, (is that a word?) let me introduce my handsome nephew, JACOB!!!!

I hope Leah and Marc don't hate me for this next shot, but I had to post.  On the first day I was there I was photographing Leah and Marc alone with the baby.  Both times, Jacob let out a fart the size of Rhoad Island.  I LOVE how both parents got embarassed:)

   Sooo totally excited....eeek!  I'm leaving for St.Louis tomorrow, brightand early to see my new nephew!  And, bonus points, I get to do a photo session with him.  I'm so ready to shoot.  I'll post a sneak peak Monday I'm sure;)  Hope you have a great weekend-Evie

Jacob Conor

  I know, I've been terrible at blogging this past week:(  We've been house hunting which seems like it's turned into a part time job in itself.  AND, this past week, my sister, Leah finally had her baby:)  Jacob Conor!  So happy he's here and yet so sad I live 5 hrs from him:(  Although one week from today I'll be traveling to St.Louis to shoot his newborn session.  Can't wait, I got big plans for it, so please check back to see them.  And, I have a very special Senior Session the same weekend in Illinois.  Which is going to be AMAZING if the weather cooperates.  OK, about to run out the door to check out another house.  Here's a short video of my new nephew, Jacob:)  My sister, Amy went out to see him yesterday and took some footage to make me jealous.  Jacob makes a sad face in the video.  I told Amy he's sad because he knows it's not Aunt Evie that's holding him;) Have a great weekend guys!
